Proc - Reverend Dr. Bobby G. Hankerson 31 Years
PROCLAMATION
WHEREAS, thirty-one years ago, on March 30, 1991, the Reverend Doctor Bobby G. Hankerson was called to be the pastor of Hammond Grove Word Power Ministry in North
Augusta, South Carolina; and
WHEREAS, Pastor Hankerson has faithfully served God, his family, his church, and this community as a spiritual counselor, preacher, and teacher; and
WHEREAS,
under Pastor Hankerson’s leadership, Hammond Grove Baptist Church become a full-time, tithing church with weekly Sunday School; and
WHEREAS, Pastor Hankerson spearheaded the construction
of a new church facility at 214 West Five Notch Road with the ground breaking on July 30, 2007; and
WHEREAS, under his leadership Hammond Grove Word Power Ministry has thrived and grown
and occupies a significant place among the churches in North Augusta; and
WHEREAS, Pastor Hankerson and his wife of fifty-six years, First-Lady Evangelist Delores B. Hankerson, have
greatly enriched the City of North Augusta with selfless leadership and ministry.
NOW THEREFORE, I, Briton S. Williams, on of behalf of the citizens of the City of North Augusta do
hereby extend sincere congratulations to
Reverend Doctor Bobby G. Hankerson
for his service and contributions to God,
to Hammond Grove Word Power Ministry, and to the City of North
Augusta
and call upon all citizens to congratulate, honor and celebrate with him for his thirty-one years of ministry in the City of North Augusta, South Carolina.
