PROCLAMATION
WHEREAS, in May of 1981, the Reverend Doctor Albert M. James was called to be the Pastor of Second Providence Baptist Church in North Augusta, South Carolina and over
the last forty years with his wife, Dorothy at his side, has been a pastor, administrator, and spiritual leader of the congregation; and
WHEREAS, Pastor James has faithfully served
God, his family, his church and his community, and during his years at Second Providence Baptist Church the church has thrived and grown and occupies a significant place among in the
churches in the North Augusta area; and
WHEREAS, the City of North Augusta has been blessed by the life, work, and ministry of Albert James not only in the church, but in the entire
community.
NOW THEREFORE, I, Briton S. Williams, on of behalf of the citizens of the City of North Augusta do hereby extend sincere congratulations to
Rev. Dr. Albert M. James
for
his service and contributions to God,
Second Providence Baptist Church,
and the City of North Augusta
and call upon all citizens to congratulate, honor, and celebrate with him on his
forty years of ministry in the City of North Augusta, South Carolina.
