PROCLAMATION
WHEREAS, business and free market capitalism comprise the backbone of the
American economy and the business system of the United States provides jobs and a quality of life
second to none in the world; and
WHEREAS, thousands of high school and college students who are interested in
business and capitalism are members of the Future Business Leaders of America and Phi Beta
Lambda; and
WHEREAS, the second week of February is the week where these organizations
publicize their activities and ask the general public to focus on the work of their organizations and
promote business in general; and
WHEREAS, the local chapter of FBLA of North Augusta High School has set the following
activities for its weeklong celebration:
Sunday Social Media Day
Monday Balloon Launch
Tuesday Professional Attire Day
Wednesday Advisor Appreciation Day
Thursday Pride Day
Friday Business Tour of Chick-fil-a
Saturday Community Service Day
