PROCLAMATION
WHEREAS, Kathy Gilliland has served the North Augusta Community for a
number of years as the Executive Director of North Augusta 2000; and
WHEREAS, changes in her life have led Kathy to decide to leave North
Augusta after many years of service both in private business and as a civic leader; and
WHEREAS, during the many years she served this community, Kathy proved
to be a person genuinely interested in the community and was an important part of the
mission and success of the various programs of North Augusta 2000; and
WHEREAS, the things that North Augusta 2000 have accomplished have
made North Augusta a better community and Kathy Gilliland had an important role in those
accomplishments.
NOW THEREFORE, I, Lark W. Jones, as Mayor of the City of North
Augusta, South Carolina, and on behalf of the Council and Citizens of the City of North
Augusta, South Carolina do hereby congratulate and commend
Kathy Gilliland
for her years of service to North Augusta and North Augusta 2000 and call on all Citizens of
North Augusta to thank her for her years of service and wish her best wishes as she enters a
new phase of her life.
