RES 2014-26 Adopted RESOLUTION NO. 2014-26 A RESOLUTION DESIGNATING TAX MAP AND PARCEL NUMBER 007-14-14-001 (MEDAC OFFICE BUILDING PROPERTY) AND TAX MAP AND PARCEL NUMBER 007-14-14-012 (PARKING DECK PROPERTY) AS THE RIVERFRONT OFFICE PARK WHEREAS, the City has previously deeded the property known as Tax Map and Parcel Number 007-14-14-001 to Greenstone NG, LLC, specifically for the purpose of construction of an office building thereon; and WHEREAS, the City retains title to Tax Map and Parcel Number 007-14-14- 012 and is currently in the process of constructing a parking deck thereon for utilization by 11 the MEDAC Office Building as well as the Municipal Building and other uses contemplated by the City; and B3 WHEREAS, it is advantageous to the City relative to the receipt of funding 1 for such development to formally designate the properties as part of an office park; and . I WHEREAS, the Mayor and City Council have reviewed this matter and determined it to be in the best interest of the City and consistent with previous actions by the I City, to designate the two parcels jointly as "The Riverfront Office Park". NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Council of the City of North Augusta, South Carolina, in meeting duly assembled and by the authority ! I thereof hereby designates those specific properties lying in an area bounded by Bluff Avenue on the North, Center Street on the East, The Greeneway on the South and West Avenue (unimproved) on the West and more specifically identified as Tax Map and Parcel Numbers 007-14-14-001 and 007-14-14-012 as The Riverfront Office Park. i i BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Administrator is authorized to execute any documents as may be necessary in order to complete this matter and confirm k ! that the area has been designated as indicated.
