The minutes of the special called study session of April 11, 2018. was also <br /> approved by general consent. <br /> ITEM 1. ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT: Ordinance No. 2018-06 — An Ordinance <br /> Designating a Portion of Riverside Village as a Designated Development Area <br /> Pursuant to the Tourism Infrastructure Admission Tax Act; Authorizing the <br /> City Administrator to Prepare and File Certain Documents Relating to the <br /> Designated Development Area; Authorizing the City Administrator to <br /> Prepare Provisions for the Expenditure of Monies Raised from the Area — <br /> Ordinance, Third and Final Reading <br /> On motion by Councilmember McDowell, second by Councilmember Dickert, <br /> Council unanimously adopted an ordinance on third and final reading designating <br /> a portion of Riverside Village as a Designated Development Area pursuant to the <br /> Tourism Infrastructure Admission Tax Act; authorizing the City Administrator to <br /> prepare and file certain documents relating to the designated development area; <br /> authorizing the City Administrator to prepare provisions for the expenditure of <br /> monies raised from the area. <br /> Please see the minutes of April 16, 2018 for the ordinance text. FINANCE: Resolution No. 2018-11 — A Resolution Identifying North <br /> Augusta Projects for the Aiken County Capital Projects <br /> Sales Tax IV <br /> On motion by Councilmember Brooks, second by Councilmember McGhee, <br /> Council considered a resolution identifying North Augusta Projects for the Aiken. <br /> County Capital Projects Sales Tax IV. <br /> On motion by Mayor Pettit, second by Councilmember Carpenter, a motion to <br /> amend the list of projects to add New Savannah Bluff Lock and Dam" under the <br /> list of projects under the Public Works and Transportation Projects title was <br /> unanimously passed. <br /> Vote was then taken on the original resolution, as amended, and unanimously <br /> passed. <br /> The resolution text is as follows: Please note that all complete exhibits and <br /> attachments are available in the Office of the City Clerk. <br />
